Windows Code V Installation Instructions

  1. Download “CODEV202503FCS.exe” from https://joko.ps.uci.edu/index.php/s/sBnkT6fbimTp3GK  
    Please use the password that provided by your faculty. 


NOTE: This installation requires you to restart your computer when it is finished installing... 

 


  1. Double click on the downloaded file.  


 


  1. Click “Yes”

  1. Click “Next”

  1. Click “Yes” To accept license agreement

  1. Choose your desire destination folder or you can leave the default location and click “Next”

  1. Choose the user destination folder or leave it as  default and click “Next”

  1. Click “Yes” to create the user folder

  1. Check “My license is for Synopsys Common Licensing” and click “Next”.A Windows to check the box and click Next 


 


  1. Choose “Network (Client Installation)” and click “Next”.A Windows to check the box for Network (Client Installation) and click Next 


 


  1. Enter license server information “27080@licenses3.ps.uci.edu” and click “Next”.A Windows to Enter server information and click Next 

  1. Click “Next” after you confirmed all the information is correct.A Windows to click Next 


 


  1. Choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” and click “Finish”.A Windows to choose to restart the computer and click next 

  1. After restarted your computer, CODE V program shortcut icon should be on  your desktop screen like the one below.

  1. Choose “No, thanks” not to create an account and click “OK”.A Windows to choose No Thanks and click OK 

  1. You can start using CODE V Software.
