Windows Instructions

This page contains instructions to install software to ensure a Windows computer is UCI ZotDefend compliant.

  1. Install BigFix (Instructions below)

  1. Go to https://tools.ps.uci.edu/downloads/bigfix
  2. Choose the Windows Operating System, and check the box to confirm that your computer, then click submit.

  3. Read the information on the screen, and then click the green download button.

  4. Open the downloaded zip file.

  5. Extract all files.

  6. Check the box to show extracted files when complete.

  7. In the folder that opens, run the installer to install bigfix.

  8. Click yes on the prompt.

  9. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the software.
